Where I write
25th April 2017
I write at odd hours in a shed at the bottom of the garden. I am a strong believer in the view that creativity boosts welfare in anyone, even the likes of me who is devoid of artistic skills. So I try to draw things and ignore the likely negative comments.
The Teapot Trust supplies art therapy to children in hospital throughout Scotland and in London to use the creative process as a way to help them come to terms with treatments and illness. We have seen how art helps children when our daughter Verity was in hospital and research shows that art also helps adults. So I draw crappy pictures of anything that I like. This is my office and is where I write.
